VA Now Referring More to Private Doctors

Relief may be in sight for veterans who have been waiting to see a primary care physician through the VA Medical System. The Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) program, originally set up to allow vets access to specialty care if long distances or wait times made a normal VA facility unavailable, has been expanded to now include primary care physicians.
